My name is Kristine Tiedt and I make comics!
What kind of comics do you make, and how did it all start?
I went for one year at Serieskolan in Malmø in 2018. After that I have made 2 books in my home in Copenhagen. I live with my son and spend most of my time with him.
What are you going to sell at Malmö Comics Fest?
At Serie Fest Malmø I will be selling prints and my 2 books. They are about seksuality, sex-education, with facts, info and humor. In my books three tiny comic characters are on a trip, talking about some of the things we don't talk a lot about in media and society. Why do women orgasm less frequently than men in heterosexual relationsships? What is the history of seksuality? Anatomy, culture, history, norms, porn, psychology are some of the subjects they cover.
Who do you think should read your comics?
My books are for everyone. I think most of us have stuff we never learned in school about these things. Only thing is they are in Danish. But I think there is lot to learn and read even if you mostly speak Swedish.
